I first started photographing the Whitley Warriors during the 2025/26 season—the club's first campaign in the Scottish National League. What began as an opportunity to capture the action quickly became something much more meaningful.
Since then, I've had the privilege of documenting not only the highs and lows of life on the ice, but also the passion, commitment and community that make the Warriors such a special club. From hard-fought battles and unforgettable celebrations to the quieter moments behind the scenes, my aim has always been to tell the story of the team through my lens.
As FAHX Photography, I'm incredibly grateful to have been welcomed by the club, its players, staff and supporters. Every game presents a new story to capture, and it's a privilege to preserve those moments for the team and the fans who make Whitley Bay Ice Rink such a fantastic place to be on a match night.
I look forward to continuing to follow the Warriors' journey and sharing the images that celebrate the dedication, pride and spirit of this historic club
The Whitley Warriors are one of the UK's most historic ice hockey clubs and a huge part of the North East sporting community. Based at Whitley Bay Ice Rink, the club's roots stretch back to the 1950s, with the Warriors name being adopted in the 1960s. They currently compete in the Scottish National League (SNL) after moving from the NIHL for the 2025–26 season.
